Fish House II

THEY ARE BACK! So the place suffered a massive fire several months ago and many people reported that it was closed for good. Well it just re-opened and has been completely renovated after the fire. They did a really nice job. Feels much cleaner now -- and the fish is still fantastic. It is hard to beat three pieces of fish - cooked fresh, cole slaw, hush puppies, fries, and a drink for less than 10.

The food is always hot and fast. It's also the best take out fish that we've found in Macon. All orders are cooked fresh after ordering. Never had any issues or complaints, our orders have always been correct.

Got some big red snapper fish market on the side fillet for free great guys very nice and quiet definitely gonna return for more keep up the great work with those knives fellas.

This is the best place for fresh fish. You can either pick your own to take home and cook or order up front.

The cashier is very professional and friendly she always greets you with a smile . The food is good and they cook it just the way you request it.

The catfish dinner was seasoned well, the fries and hushpuppies were fresh and hot. The only complaint, I have is that the coleslaw had too much mayo for my taste and parking is tight. Otherwise everything else was great.

The fish market in the rear of building is awesome. Much better selections then the grocery stores. Fresh catch whole fish, reasonable prices. Will clean, cut, and fillet your fish with no extra charge. Must get there early, tends to run out.
